A healthy snack, sandwich spread, or salad dressing.
Hummus. Chickpeas, Garlic, Tahini, Toasted Cumin.

Hummus is an amazing #snack and great in #lunch boxes. It makes a great #dips for vegetables, crackers or even bread.  Nothing tops homemade hummus.  It is incredibly #simple and keeps well for at least a week in a sealed container in the fridge.

1 can of chickpeas with liquid 4 cloves of garlic grated 1 tbsp toasted cumin seeds juice of one lemon rind of one lemon 1 tsp sea salt 1 cup of tahini (sesame seed paste) 1/4 cup of water to add additional moisture if there is not enough liquid from the can. 2 tbsp olive oil

Directions:

Put it all in a food processor and process until smooth. You may need to add a bit more water if your mixture is dry.  It will depend on how much lemon juice you extracted and how thick your tahini is.

Use it as a sandwich spread, dip, or salad dressing.
